Timothy O’Connell is founder and President of Southwest Concierge, LLC, a Phoenix-based personal assistant and concierge firm designed to assist people with the ongoing struggle of finding enough time to enjoy the life they’ve worked so hard to achieve. Southwest Concierge is a full-service company with only one goal in mind…saving people time.
Southwest Concierge’s clients range from busy moms to the "well known." Whether it’s making dinner reservations for two, booking a limo and a concert, ordering flowers for someone special, or providing a personal assistant to run errands, Southwest Concierge is up to the task.
As President, O’Connell maintains overall responsibility for the company’s strategic and functional development, sales & marketing, financial planning and risk management functions. Prior to launching Southwest Concierge, he enjoyed a successful career in the technology industry. As regional manager of support operations for Avnet Enterprise Solutions, O’Connell was chartered to build and manage the Avnet NCSC (National Customer Support Center) serving North America and Avnet’s U.S. and Canadian customers.
Before joining Avnet, O’Connell spent seven years at Kent Datacomm, where he served in a variety of positions including southwest regional sales manager for Arizona, New Mexico and Nevada, and as regional services manager for the western U.S. During his tenure with Kent, his management style and highly successful strategy in growing markets quickly established him as a key resource within Kent, placing him on advisory boards for professional services, marketing, H.R. and legal departments.
O’Connell now brings that expertise and background in customer support and professional services much closer to home allowing his clients to spend more time with their families, friends and personal interests and less time chasing that ever-growing list of "must-do’s.”
